The Blytheville High School ninth grade Junior Chickasaws (9-3, 13-5) on Feb. 1 earned a 42-33 triumph over Greene County Tech, and the Blytheville Middle School eighth grade boys (2-8) won 33-28.
The Blytheville Chickasaws (8-5, 12-9) completely controlled Greene County Tech 64-43 on Jan. 30 at the BHS Gym, and the ‘B’ Chickasaws (9-2) edged the JV Golden Eagles 40-38 in overtime.
The Blytheville Lady Chickasaws (2-11, 4-16) were no match for Greene County Tech on Jan. 30 at the BHS Gym, losing to the Lady Eagles 57-30.
The Sam Scruggs Juneteenth Scholarship is available in the information racks located outside the Counselor's office and library. The application has also been emailed.

The Blytheville High School ninth grade Junior Chickasaws (8-3, 12-5) were victorious at Valley View 25-22 in AAAAA-East play on Jan. 29.
The Blytheville High School ninth grade Junior Lady Chickasaws (1-10, 2-13) fell Jan. 29 at Valley View 55-25, and the Blytheville Middle School eighth grade girls (2-6) were also defeated 36-4.
The Blytheville Middle School seventh grade Junior Chickasaws (2-8) defeated West Memphis East 23-21 on Jan. 27 at West Memphis.
The Blytheville Chickasaws (7-5, 11-9) lost their rematch Jan. 26 at West Memphis 59-42, and the ‘B’ Chickasaws (8-2) survived in overtime against the JV Blue Devils 34-31 in the first game.
February 16th will be a make up day from the snow days. We will still take President’s Day, February 19th, as a holiday and make up the remaining 3 snow days on May 30, May 31, and June 1st as outlined in the 2017-18 calendar.
Packets will be sent out so that any further days out of school can be AMI days.

The Blytheville High School ninth grade Junior Lady Chickasaws (1-9, 2- 11) on Jan. 25 absorbed a 49-8 defeat at Nettleton.
The @BlyHigh Chickasaws (7-4, 11-8) steamrolled over the Paragould Rams 61-40 on Jan. 23 at Paragould. The JV game was cancelled because the JV Rams had too many players sidelined with the flu.
The Blytheville High School ninth grade Junior Chickasaws (6-3, 10-5) rolled past the Batesville Junior Pioneers 46-37 in AAAAA-East action on Jan. 22 at Batesville.
The Blytheville High School ninth grade Junior Lady Chickasaws (1-8, 2-11) were no match at Batesville against the Junior Lady Pioneers, losing 58-20 on Jan. 22.
The Blytheville Chickasaws (6-4, 10-8) on Jan. 19 worked past Valley View 56-48 at the BHS Gym, and the ‘B’ Chickasaws (7-1) also defeated the JV Blazers 43-35 in the evening’s first game.
The Blytheville Lady Chickasaws (2-9, 4-14) were unable to upset Valley View in AAAAA-East action at the BHS Gym on Jan. 19, losing 45-35.
Employees with the Blytheville School District and others associated with the future Multi-Purpose Arena participated in groundbreaking ceremonies Jan. 18, with actual work to begin within two weeks.

The Blytheville High School ninth grade Junior Chickasaws (5-3, 9-5) controlled Wynne 39-33 on Jan. 18 at the BHS Gym, and the Blytheville Middle School 8th grade Junior Chickasaws (1-8) lost 25-21.
