K-M grants will benefit Middle, BPS

Three schools in the Blytheville School District will benefit from grants presented to the school’s libraries from Kinder-Morgan.

Blytheville High School’s library received a $5,000 grant from Kinder-Morgan, and presenting the grant was assistant terminal manager Ronnie Taylor. Media specialist Karen Ashley said that the library will use the grant to purchase more books, especially electronic books. She added she wants the students to be able to access more books electronically.

Blytheville Middle School media specialist Melisa Rutherford received a $3,000 grant from Kinder-Morgan in November, and a $5,000 grant recently for Blytheville Primary School.
