During our pep assembly, Mr. Curtis Walker, Jr. spoke with students about the good in our community, students raced to finish tasks as outlined in the instructions, Mrs. Nash encouraged students to "push it to the limit" during testing, and teachers showed off their best dance moves.

BMS students will test for the ACT Aspire this week and next week. Let's make sure our kids get enough rest at night, eat breakfast each morning, and get to their testing location on time.
The BMS/BHS Odyssey of the Mind team took home 1st place at the OM state competition in Springdale! The group will compete in Iowa at the world finals next month.
One of our male students has suffered a house fire. Everyone is okay but the family lost everything. Our BMS student was the only youth living in the house under 18. If you would like to donate items or funds to help this family the following is some information about him:

Students in American Studies identified the which candidate won electoral votes in each state for the 2016 presidential election.
Students in Ms. Amy's class calculated the surface area of different shapes and displayed their work in the halls of BMS!
As part of our search for a new superintendent, the Blytheville School District will host a community forum on Wednesday, March 28th from 6-7pm at the Blytheville High School Auditorium. Hope to see you there!
