BHS Homecoming week starts off with "Medical Monday", as students and teachers dress up as doctors, nurses, or patients.


Special thanks to those who participated in the Historical Human Panel. We enjoyed learning more about their culture and life during the 1950-1970's. The panel was Mrs.Vickie Ratliff, Ms.Lucretia McDonald, Mr.Idell Jenkins, Mr. Paul Jenkins, Mrs. Vera James, Mr.Cecil McDonald, and Ms.Norma Valley.

Jordan Hardy, a former BHS graduate, spoke with Ms. Seane Clifton's Social Media and Communications classes. She shared important topics such as marketing,social media analysis, and the implementation of social media platforms. A big thank you to Ms. Hardy for coming and giving back to our school!

2017-2018 School year begins today with teacher's professional development meeting at the high school.


Great River Medical Center will be hosting a physical clinic for student athletes grades 7-12 at BMS on Wednesday, July 26th starting at 8:30 am. This will be for all fall sports - volleyball, football, basketball, and cheer. (There will be another clinic for the spring sports.) Volunteer doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, and clerical workers will be present and giving of their time for our students! Contact your coach if you would like to receive a time slot for a free physical along with permission and medical release forms. This is a great opportunity - don't miss out!
