2019 SENIOR Information & Activities

Friday, May 3rd - College Signing day @1:30

Friday, May 10th - last day for seniors except for those who will be taking AP exams

Friday, May 10th - Practice for Graduation and Award Assembly at 10 a.m. in the Boys’ Gym.  Cap and gowns will be available for pick up following practice. (Only the parent or the student may pick up the cap and gown.  If there is a problem, see Mrs. Middlebrook.) Be prepared to have picture made and dress accordingly (school dress code).  Some award and scholarship pictures will be made.

Friday, May 10th - Senior Picnic, right after practice then Parade of Graduates @1:15 (wear your cap and gown)

Tuesday, May 14th - Awards Assembly.  Be outside Boys’ Gym on the practice field by 6:30.  The ceremony begins at 7:00 p.m. You will wear your cap and gown. Be prepared to have your picture made if you got an award or scholarship, so don’t leave the building too soon.  

Friday, May 17th - Graduation!! Be there by 6:30 and lined up in the Field House by 6:45.  You will wear your cap and gown. Graduation begins at 7:00.

All seniors are to to be at practice, Awards Assembly, and Graduation unless personally excused by Mr. Swenson.

  • Make sure you have completed the senior check-out list that Mr. Davis sent out.  If it is not completed and turned in, you will not walk.

  • Mrs. Middlebrook has a notebook in her office for you to write the name and address where you want your final transcript sent.  The final transcripts will not be ready until the middle of June.

  • You may pick up your diploma in the Counseling Office beginning June 17th, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday.  Only you or your parent/guardian may pick it up.

What to wear under your cap and gown

Gentlemen will wear dress pants, dress shoes, button-down shirt with collar, tie.

Ladies will wear a dress and shoes you can easily walk and stand in.  (Spike heels are cute, but may cause you to fall if they puncture the turf.)

***If the weather on May 17th will be rainy, you will be issued tickets and will have a limited number of family/friends who can attend graduation.  We will tell you more details about this at graduation practice.

You may NOT decorate the top of your graduation cap.
